JammASD v2

The JammASD (JAMMA interface for PC to Arcade Controls, also known as PC2Jamma) is a board which allows plug-in connection of an standard JAMMA (3 buttons per player) arcade cabinet to a PC and supports 4 additional inputs per player (screw terminal). Fully protected against reverse connection. It incorporates all functions of a keyboard encoder, an audio and a video amplifier: 1. Fully programmable key code set. Stored even after power off. 2. Boosts signal to standard arcade monitor levels. 3. No special drivers needed... and many more. There is a 2 x 2 W stereo audio amplifier for 8 Ohm speakers with independent volume control for every channel, which also can be configured for mono mode. Also can divide a 31Khz VGA signal in half so that it will display a stable picture on a 15Khz arcade monitor. Useful for checking boot-up progress and configuration (not for application use). The JammASD does not convert the video signal in any way but amplifies it to the level required by an arcade monitor. The sync frequency jumpers only control the sync-in-range safety check (don't set a jumper if you're using a multi-sync monitor). The PC must be configured to send the correct sync frequency for the monitor. Included are: JammASD, audio cable, VGA cable, ps/2 cable.
